Explosive Rage

Mood swings can quickly transpire into outright explosive anger. However, this anger is much like a random volcanic eruption. People with BPD will often get triggered by something, even simple things that would rarely provoke anger, and will explode with an anger that is disproportional to the situation.

That said, some individuals have a much more muted response. Some will behave bitterly or break into physical violence. Though the rage is noticeable when directed towards others, people with BPD are usually preoccupied with being angry with themselves.
