Coping and Support for Low Sex Drive in Women
It is natural to be frustrated and discouraged by a lack of sexual desire, especially if it is sudden and you have a loving relationship with your partner. You might feel like nothing is going to work and you will never feel sexy or romantic again. Don’t worry. You can return to normal.
Until then, it is important to discuss what you are going through with your partner. Make sure they do not feel rejected, as this can lead to more stress and conflict. Also, let them know that fluctuations in sexual desire is normal for women, especially as you progress through different life stages.
Instead of putting all of your focus on sex, do other intimate things, like taking a vacation together, go on a date, take walks together, and tell one another how much you value your relationship. Feeling good about yourself and your relationship is going to be one of the best things you can do to alleviate low sex drive.
