Frequent Urination
As mentioned earlier, having to pee a lot more often is one of the most common early signs of ovarian cancer and the symptom most ignored. After all, frequent urination is not uncommon in older woman who have given birth to children or who have had other bladder problems, such as interstitial cystitis or a urinary tract infection (UTI).
Some women may go to the doctor multiple times to treat a recurring urinary tract infection only to find that they actually have ovarian cancer.
Yet, when tumors begin developing on the ovaries, those tumors will press against the bladder, since there is limited space in the pelvis. You will feel more constant pressure against your bladder and will think you have to run to the bathroom more frequently, even when your bladder isn’t full.
